Yes. Actually, that is what we do best! Your sign can be made with your design or ours. You choose the size, shape, material, text, graphics, font, etc. Feel free to supply us with your own files (.eps, .ai, .dxf, .jpg (high-resolution)

Yes. If you can think it, we can make it happen. If you need a ballet dancer wearing a sombrero and carrying an American flag, we can design it for you. We also have an extensive library of images to draw from if necessary. Custom designs can take extra time to create and may slightly increase the cost of your sign.

Yes. We have a huge selection of fonts in our system. However, some fonts are not condusive to our fabrication process but it doesn’t hurt to ask. You can also give us the “style” you are looking for and our designer can choose an appropriate font for your sign and subject matter.

We suggest going to your local hardware store and look for samples of either Clark and Kensington or Valspar paints and give us the name and code number so we can exactly match your colors. You can also go online but please remember that each monitor may display differently so there may be slight variations.

Our standard production time is about 2-3 weeks after design approval for you to receive your custom sign. We can rush some orders without jeopardizing quality. If you need it sooner, we will see if we can get it done. Rush charges start at 40% of the sign price and we would have to pass on expedited shipping costs if that became necessary.

Maybe. The process to fabricate your custom sign includes design, design approval, file manipulation, fabrication, and shipping. We can discuss your specific project and time frame and see if it is possible to meet your deadline.

We like to suggest that you can print the image from the proof and place it either in a card or, for a fun idea, in a box the size the sign will be, and include a note that says it will be arriving shortly.

Every one of our signs are custom made and hand-crafted to your exact specifications. We do not have any “pre-fabricated” designs we can pull off a shelf. Your sign starts as a hunk of steel or a piece of wood and ends the process as a unique, one of a kind, custom piece.

The most desireable files are vector files (.eps). If you have a high quality .jpeg in black and white, we can also use that. If you are not sure if we can use your artwork, send it along in an email and we will take a look at it for you. If needed, our team of designers may be able to convert the file for a small design fee.

Yes. Additional shipping costs may apply.

We get this question a lot. It completely depends on the purpose and location of your sign. We are happy to recommend a size if you let us know where and how your sign is to be used.

No. However, we do have a technique that produces a very similar look at a fraction of the price.

No. The text and/or graphics of your design are routed from the sign blank, painted black (or the color of your choice), and the entire sign is sealed/stained.

We use only high quality woods, wood sealers, paints and powder coats selected for their outdoor durability. Please note, like any material, they are subject to wear depending on exposure to wind, sun, rain and various other factors.

Yes. We recommend you check your sign often and complete light maintenance regularly. Depending on your climate, annual maintenance is typically all that is necessary. We suggest a light sanding and the re-application of an outdoor sealer (i.e. Sikkens Natural Deck Sealer) every year.

We are so confident that you will be amazed with the quality and craftsmanship of our products, that we offer “Risk Free” shopping! If you are not totally satisfied with your purchase, return it in the same condition and packaging within 30 days for a full refund minus a $25.00 design fee. Return shipping is at your cost.

Respond to the email proof and let us know what changes you need. We will send you a new design proof as soon as possible. If you have any additional changes after the 2nd proof, there is a charge of $18.00 for each additional proof requested.

Each installation is different. We provide eyelets or hanging hardware with each wooden sign we send out. You are responsible for providing any additional hardware required.

Be sure to tell us how you plan on hanging your sign and we will suggest the best hardware for your sign. Please consider how you will be hanging your signs when approving the design proof.
